Whilst COVID-19 is active and most of Europe is confined to their homes, Yoga&Me has added a much requested option to offer online classes.
In this quick tutorial, we show you how to stream your class live on Youtube. You will need a computer equipped with a webcam and microphone or a phone as well as a Youtube/Google account.
Please note, currently Youtube live has a 24 hour wait period before you can stream so be sure to plan early if you wish to stream some classes.
The first step is to activate Youtube Live by going to https://www.youtube.com/ and clicking the go live button at the top right. If you haven't previously done this you will need to wait 24 hours before being able to test a live stream.

Once your Youtube account is ready to stream, click the go live button and you will be prompted to authorise access to your webcam and microphone.

Once that's done you can set up your first class, make sure to mark it as unlisted so people cannot find it whilst searching Youtube.

You will then be prompted to take a thumbnail before proceeding to your stream preview.

Once that's done you can click on Go Live to test out your set-up. Assuming you are happy with everything the next step will be to send your stream link to your students from your Yoga&Me admin by clicking the little arrow next to "END STREAM".

Once done, the students who have booked in your class will receive an email to access the class on the booking platform.
After your class, end the stream. You can choose to delete the video right after or later on if you wish to give your students a chance to watch your class again.
